If They are Smooth
A small girl asked her Daddy,
one bright and sunny day
If she could go outside,
with neighbor boys to play
Her Daddy said, "You may not,
those boys are too darn rough
Gentle play for little girls,
sure will be enough."
She smiled at her daddy,
She understood his truth
Said "can I play with a boy,
If I find one that is smooth
