The Power Of Prayer!So ok, it's Christmas Eve, And here I am complaining again! Well I'm sorry it's that time of the year, But my mind's driving me insane! And I have to write it out… And eke it from deep within! Get my head on, find that strength! The one that will help me to win!! Win this fight of all fights! And face it all head on! And when this krap is over at last! Then I will know that I've won! It's a game of chance, it is! And the dice has rolled another tumour! And this time; where will it fall? Blimey, it's a wonder I've any humour!!! My mate she always makes me laugh! About these ruddy tumours! For years she would correct doctors and say; 'TWO, not one, TWO! Don't listen to the rumours!' I would laugh, oh but I would, We both did cos it was funny you see! Then the other week when I said I had another! At first she went sick, then said to me! ‘THREE! I will have to say three now!' Holding her fingers in the air! We laughed again, as only we can! Even though it doesn't seem fair! So last week I told her I had another! ‘The other one grew back,' I said, And she never held her fingers up or laughed, Cos we each knew the fear and the dread! So now we wait until next week, When this fourth tumour is taken away, And God help me, I need your prayers, To help me through this coming Thursday!
