FLAMES OF PAIN
Fiery flames
Lick at the underbelly
Of my pain
My mind is an outpouring
Of rage
And silent tears
A stiffening surge wells
In the stove of my stomach
And my anguish
Feeds the raging roar
My throat slips close
And my breath is laboured
Gulping and gasping
In an empty orb
That is now my world
Why did you go.......
