Santa Complains

Santa complains about being stuck
Head first inside the chimney,
He's trying to get the bag down there too
On the bricks, he bangs his knees.

He can't believe how many toys
He's got to deliver to the boys and girls,
Staying up so very late
To travel around the entire world.

He's tired of getting snowed on
And rained on, as well,
Every year he has to do this
He gets a headache from the sleigh bells.

His reindeer laugh at him
Whenever things go wrong,
He brings his discman with him
To listen to different songs.

The elves give him a hard time
Every year that goes by,
Always fighting over which one
Has their turn in the sleigh to fly.

Santa wants to know what it's like
To relax, even one day of the year,
Instead of putting toys together
He would rather sit and have a beer.
