Turquoise eyes shine bright
In the early evening light
And her smile is dazzling
When I walk in every time
There is a touch of fondness
In us both.
The next time in the house
Of gypsies she flows across the room
In translucent colors of water
Like the over flowing emotions
Spinning my head
I embrace her in a hug
To keep from falling over
But I am fallen.
Time goes on and when next
We meet,
Both smiles do we greet
One another
She is painting in the color
Of my soul,
And she says as much.
Is it flattery
Is it fondness
Can it ever be more?
Shall I place my heart
On a platter of royal blue
And ask her if it is to her liking?
Or shall I simply enjoy the hope.
