Love to lay in bed late at night
Listening to the winter wind blow~
Outside as it does through the trees
As a flickering candle gives of glow~
Love to listen to the rain pitter patter
As it tumbles against the window glass~
Giving natures own musical symphony
That plays so beautifully with it's own finest class~
Love to Watch the birds away up there
Fly slowly against the breezes high~
Making their way to a warm place to stay
Away up in the winters sky~
Love to rug up ever warm
To venture out into the coldest air~
Love to come back home again
To be oh so glad I am there~
Love to see the leaves in carpets of color
And within which squirrels play~
Rushing here and there and everywhere
As they fill a squirrels day~
Love to see those large oak trees
And all their branches high~
Love to watch the clouds roll along
So far up in the sky~
Love to experience and listen to natures song
With all the music nature has to give~
Love to be where the seasons are true
Love to live right where I live~
