 Forever Puppy

Photobucket

Four paws, short tail, salt pepper coat
Little I knew she would elope
With my heart no longer there
Her loss, my pain today I bare

Born November 19th, 91 the year
Would fill my life, my eyes with tears
Would know her loss just past New Years
January 2nd, Dana, endeared

Share she would my many birthdays
20's, 30's, 40's my yesterdays
My girl, my love, my best friend ever
Inside my heart she'll live forever

North Hills we'd walk, Doylestown we'd run
Pacing our stroll in Horsham's Sun
The joy she left will live tommorow
Our time well spent, although was borrowed

I do believe one day I'll see
My puppie jump on my knees
Where stairs I'll climb just past a gate
Where destiny will kiss my face
