Walking into time,
Eyes are closed,
I'm blind to the fate,
as I go into 2008,
It's too late,
to go back,
I can know longer find,
the road I traveled on,
so long.
To all that I left behind,
Memories still stay in my heart and my mind.
I can't undo any mistake,
I can't go back and heal
any heartache,
I can just go on,
through that gate,
As it shuts I find.
Where life seems to intertwine,
As if made my a hand divine.
Once asleep.
now I awake.
Tears on the cheek,
for Father Time will never wait,
and some things I leave behind.
I wish I could take.
Sometime I see the quantum leap,
and wish the clock could unwind,
But I can't stop Father Time.
and Lady Luck is not always kind,
As I go onto unknown fate,
I go through the gate,
of 2008.
