Spare Me The Glory

Spare me the glory,
spare me the praise please,

For the praise and glory don't belong to me but they belong to Love
Himself,

After all, what is praise without Love Himself,
what is the glory without His grace and mercy?

I am nothing without His love, His grace, and His mercy,
and I am very weak without His admonishments whenever I go astray,

I really need Him to please tell me to STOP whenever I need to be put
back into place,

For no matter how much I grow, no matter how holy I become, and no matter
how much I sin not,

I'd still want to be told to STOP by God and all of His people!

So please spare me the glory and spare me the praise, for praise without
Love is just insecurity!!
