 THE   HANDBOOK   OF   LOVE

Does anyone own a copy
Has one ever been writ
Am I so evidently stupid
A typical dreaming Brit

Library shelves I have scoured
Dusty corners of my mind
They say love conquers all
And to rush in we have to be blind

The Handbook Of Love
I need it right now
Not tomorrow, the day after
Or gone with the crowd

The why's, when's and wherefore's
Can this be true love
Are we two souls together
Two hands in one glove

My heart is a flutter
My mind has gone blank
I'm dozy and flighty
And is he the one to thank

If you have a copy, please send it
Registered Mail, ASAP
Sometimes the agony of loving
Makes a veritable fool out of me
