I wonder if the caterpillars feel the sad and gloom
as their sisters pass from them, to become a cocoon
I wonder if they fathom, that soon, that one will fly
As a winged beauty beneath the sunny sky
Today as I wept , I did so for family and friends
While I felt joy for Rachel as all her hurts did end
When I looked toward Heaven a tear fell from my eye
I know although it's winter, God showed me a Butterfly
She served Him as a Sister, devoted her life for the Lord
Now among the Saints she stands, cherished and adored
We will see you later Sweet Sister, somewhere beyond the sky
I will hold your in my memory, to be reminded by a Butterfly
WE enjoyed the wonderful love and poetry created by Sister Rachel, at poetsforintegrity.org She lost her battle with breast cancer and went to be with Jesus. As I was mourning her loss, I was inspired to write this share. I hope this will help others to understand what happens when a Christian passes to Heaven. Remember that all anyone needs to do to become a Christian, is to ask Jesus to forgive your sins and fill your life. From there He will fill you with His Grace and never let you fall an further than your knees.
