 {} Sleep Well, Little Brother {}
Photobucket

Sleep well little brother!
                              Rest in eternal peace!

Can you hear the beating of the drums?
Through the dark hallways of death
They carry our sorrow and echoe our grief
Our brother Andy has left us and drawn his last breath!

Sleep little brother
                             Sleep dear heart!

You leave us in tears, we'll try not to weep
We'll miss you terribly while we're apart!

Sing little brother!
                             Sing for all eternity!

Your voice will tremble the heavens
We know you'll be singing gloriously!

We'll hear your voice when the winds stir the trees
The drums will beat as the thunder rolls
No more earth bound, your Spirit will be free!

Sing on, dear brother!
                              Sing to your heart's content!

Watch or'e your beloved Belize
You were indeed unique
In our lives there'll be no other!

Goodnight little brother!
                                  Sleep well!

           R.I.P. Andy!

“The Caribbean Community salutes this distinguished son of the soil of the region and takes this opportunity to extend sincere condolences to the family of Andy Vivien Palacio as indeed to the government and people of Belize. He will long be remembered as an ardent and passionate advocate of his music and other cultural traditions of the Garifuna people of Belize and Central America for his outstanding talent.”

We call on you. Please help us
Look upon your children on Earth, Father
So much has gone wrong. We pray to you

Blow a breeze over us (Day by day)
Give us strength (Day by day)
Open our eyes (Day by day)
Make us wiser (Day by day)

God, Our Father, hear our voices
We call on you. Please help us
Bless your faithful children, Almighty Lord.
We give you thanks.

Lord, protect us (Day by day)
Give us life (Day by day)
Oh Father, guide us (Day by day)
