What is Progressive Revelation?
It is worth a further explanation
The One true God of the ages
Revealed in the Bible's pages
But He does it a little at a time
Evidenced by His power divine
Genesis is a book of many firsts
Creation and sin beyond the curse
God created the world in six days
It was good and perfect in every way
But sin affected far more than mankind
Extending to living things of every kind
Just like humans are plagued with disease
Animals are not exempt from any of these
Trees get old and branches will die and rot
Cut it down when you see a big black spot
The Old Testament all points to the cross
The New fulfills God's plan for the lost
Jesus came, knowing that He would die
It began in the Garden of Eden with a lie
That's what Progressive Revelation is about
Building upon truth and erasing all doubt
Prophecy after prophecy has come true
Someday He will come back again, too
Are you ready for that day, my friend?
We do not know when the world will end
Jesus is the only way to enter heaven's door
It is not by good works or caring for the poor
Romans 8:20-22 (NIV)
For the creation was subjected to frustration, not
by its own choice, but by the will of the one who
subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself
will be liberated from its bondage to decay and
brought into the glorious freedom of the children

groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to
