 He touched my heart

He touched my heart

I wrestled with guilt
  both day and night,
I seemed unable to stay
  on path marked right.
No one ever taught me
  evil ways to live,
There is an inner power
  that subtly drives.

Then, I heard a soft voice
  one restless night,
Twice gently he called
  He had my name right.
He touched my heart,
  what could I do?
I prayed a simple prayer,
  but would he be true?

‘Jesus, save me',
  these but simple words.
Then ,there came peace
  given by Jesus my Lord.
