My curse

There once a long time ago was an evil witch.
Her warlock boyfriend she did ditch.

(Oh boyfriend who betray)
(This flower I lay)
(your heart won't have a say)
(It will rot and decay)

It was a simple spell of turning
A man into a mouse.
Fill him with fear
And ditch him in a cat filled haunted house.

It was so dark he could not see his rival.
Rather than get eaten by the cats
His thoughts became suicidal.

In the far distance
He could see a crack in the door.
The mouse just wanted to be
The man he was before.

He focused on the distant light.
Faster than a speeding bullet he ran.
Without a scratch or a bite.
He suddenly became a man.

The cats have become his loving pets.
The witch lives with nothing but regrets.

(Oh ex girlfriend this curse you lay.)
(my strength and courage keep your demons away.)
(but today you pay)
(forever in every way)
(The darkness has become light)
(Its a total relief)
(I don't want to fight)
(Its all about self-belief)
(And making wrongs right)

Pete.
