Memories of Past Presents
Tour of Duty
More Poetry >>
If you could but see yourself thru my eyes,
You would never again question,
Your beauty, grace, poise, and size,
For you are utter perfection.
With a body of an angel come to earth,
The eyes of someone with soul,
The way in which you use your mirth,
Make me feel that I am whole.
For with you I feel that I am a complete man,
So lucky to have you on my arm,
From the moment I met you then I began,
To see you in all your charm.
In addition to all these physical traits,
You possess a heart of pure gold,
So rare is it to find someone that creates,
A personality so witty, so funny and bold.
I feel so proud when we are in a crowd,
And everyone turns to stare,
I know it's not me they are trying to see,
But the one who honors me there.
You look around but you don't know,
How beautiful you can be,
You stand there with your face all aglow,
Lighting the way for me.
