Wisdom from Above
Are you sensible and wise?
Or are you just filled with lies;
Both praise and curse from the tongue,
For selfishness in the lung.
You should just be living right,
That is pleasing to God's sight;
Humble and wise all you do,
Each and every day through.
But your heart is so bitter,
That is of jealous litter;
Hiding the truth when you boast,
Your value is the utmost.
That trait is not from above,
God's wisdom is filled with love;
It's pure, gentle and sincere,
Never to cause harm or fear.
For when you plant seeds of peace,
Hostilities seem to cease;
Then you will reap the justice,
From the love that you practice.
