I do love so the Autumn time
As all the leaves they fall~
Creating a carpet ever divine
When nature makes another call~
But looking deeper sometimes at things
That nature puts on display~
There are thoughts that thus do come to mind
In natures most natural way~
So many different types of leaves
They fall from many different a tree~
And all land down upon the ground
Creating a carpet of ecstasy~
All working there as one
To create and make a picture ever sublime~
And though they all belong to different trees
They do so as one each and every time~
If we our selves could take a leaf
From natures book this way~
We could all as one create a picture so
Being as one world wide at peace today~
But leaves are simply just that leaves
They do not know of negativity~
All that prevents us from being like them
Even though so easy it would be~
But within the most simplest natural things
Are lessons we could all learn so well~
And if we would care to seek what they say
I know the answers they would gladly tell~
But how I love the falling leaves
At that special time of year~
When trees are shedding their yesterday
And facing all to come and without fear~
