We've been friends for a long time now,
And adopted each other as well,
We always have a laugh,
She's a great peep as this tale will tell!
We met up quite a while ago,
And we chatter all the time,
On the phone, on the net,
And we've a friendship strong and fine.
Kindred spirits is what we are,
We support each other at length,
Each a shoulder to cry on,
We draw on each others strength!
She's such a gentle person,
With a heart both strong and bold,
Will compassion second to none,
Her worth just should be told!
She's a really kindly lady,
Caring and loving too,
In fact I have to say it,
There's nothing she wont do!
She helps whenever she can,
Nothing is a trial,
There she is every day,
Wearing a beaming smile.
So I wrote this special poem,
Especially for my sis cos you see,
I really think the world of her,
Cos she means the world to me!
