Life has its trials and tribulations,
This we know is true,
Life also has its heartaches,
When we don't know what to do?
Sometimes it's so very hard,
And we don't know how we'll cope,
That's where memories come in handy,
And that's why we have hope.
Sometimes we feel so low,
And can't see too far ahead,
So we take it one day at a time,
Don't rush, but stroll instead!
When you think of the one you lost,
Watching from above,
Remember all those memories,
And treasure all that love.
For every little teardrop,
That falls slowly down you face,
It helps the healing process,
And your sadness it will chase.
You have a church inside your heart,
And when you feel a little sad,
Just say quiet little prayer,
And you won't feel too bad.
Now as you potter round the home,
If you feel a little blue,
Think on now, all those memories,
And what you used to do.
Remember your travels all around,
And in the recess of your mind,
Bring those memories to the fore,
And see just what you'll find.
And know within your heart and soul,
That wherever you may be,
Your loved one's there, just a thought away…
For all eternity!
