Help me to turn my hard times into good,
my sad times into glad and the trying times into moments of strength,
Help me to realize that this world is not my home and I'm just a stranger
so far away from home,
Please help me not to get so attached to this life as I understand it,
please help me to love each of my brothers and sisters without getting so
attached to them,
Help me to keep them in prayer even in the midst of separation and silence,
help me to pray for Your touch and Your tenderness even when the skies are
gray ---
And help me to turn my own hard times into good, whatever I must face ---
Help me to realize that this life is not my home and that we are all just
a bunch of pilgrims searching for our way back home!!
