Petes Poetry

Flowers and Faces.

Unique beauty all around.
To this plain i'm bound.

The pout and architecture of her lips.
The curves and perfection of her hips.

Like an angel who's lost her wings.
Like a garden bursting in spring.

Like a flower waiting to be fertilized.
Mother-natures seeds materialize.

Sowing, Seeding
Growing, Feeding

An awesome glamorous season.
Immortal to all reason.

Faces flourishing like flowers
Yet time eventually devours.

The eye of the beholder
No matter if we're getting older.

Memories tattooed in heart and mind.
Beneath the earth confined.

Until the clock turns.
Like the sun burns
Like destiny calls
and rain falls.

Nature and genetics click into place.
Just to catch another glimpse of her face.

Skin with the texture of silk.
Cheeks and nose perfectly structured and built.

Eyes that see beyond any exterior soul.
Looking beneath
Observing what makes us whole.

Hearts that bleed.
Hearts that grieve.
Hearts of gold.
Hearts resolved.

Minds of thought.
Minds that sort.
Minds that refuse.
Minds that confuse.

Souls of freedom.
Souls of reason.
Souls of addiction.
Souls of conviction.

Under and above.
Inside and out.
The wonder of love.
Decide, never doubt.

Pete.
