Taken in by your gaze
Given false hope by your praise
Warmed by your touch
I thought you wanted me so much
The hugs and the kisses
And the silence between the close misses
Stories I heard about your other prisoners
But I thought there was something between us?
When you spurned me
I felt a sword drive through me

The air had left my lungs and I couldn't swallow
Believing that there is always a chance tomorrow
The burden of love proved too heavy
I gambled all my emotions and now I am left empty
The cards I hold now is the joker and the ace
But the jokes on me with shame on my face
All those days we spent together
I was your love prisoner
I was sentenced to be a love failure
And you were to be my love jailer!
