 Dead or Alive
What if Jesus is still dead?
Is there hope for us ahead?
If He died our souls to save
He is powerless in the grave

If Jesus knew He came to die
Rest assured He does not lie
Promising to rise in three days
We can depend on what He says

Examine the undeniable evidence
Facts, more than just a coincidence
If you search with an open mind
It is amazing what you will find

The empty tomb, stone rolled away
Burial clothes, folded in a neat way
A thief would have startled the guard
Trying to move the stone, big and hard

Without His resurrection, there is no hope
Our faith is in vain, no way for us to cope
We are still dead and lost in all our sins
But He is alive and offers peace within

1 Corinthians 15:17-20a (NIV)
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you
are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen
asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have
hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But
Christ has indeed been raised from the dead.
