 Crimson Connection
The snow is melting and spring draws near,
soon kids will be filled with the Easter cheer.
Chocolate bunnies and eggs of all kinds,
sweetness will be filling young hearts and minds.
I remember my Easters that have long since passed,
seems our good thoughts usually last.
This year for Easter if you sit in church with your friends,
say a few prayers for those that can't be within.
Those who have moved on and those that moved away,
to serve their country and the American way.
Say a few prayers for the poor and the lost,
prayers come free they haven't a cost.
Yet, with the combinations of our hearts and our minds,
hopefully humanity can achieve peaceful designs.
On this day that many will celebrate the resurrection,
Let's make it the best Easter for a earthly connection.
We all live and our bodies will all become dead,
yet, under our skin we all bleed the same red.
