Coming Back
You know how they say,
"You don't know what you have until it's gone?
How knowledge of love
comes with a painful cost?
Well, I agree
For I had it once,
But these guys always screw it up
To put it blunt.
I had it great,
I had it all,
But they lie, they play , they cheat
And before I knew it forced me to fall.
It knocked me to the ground
Slapped me in the face,
And sliced my arm
What a disgrace!
It hurt my hope,
And destroyed my hapiness.
He hurt me so bad!
Showed me pain unimaginable.
I deserved none of this,
And He crushed most of my trust,
But I'm not myself, nore am I alright
So help is a must.
I bit, chewed,
And swallowed my pride.
I called my father,
And asked for help as I cried.
I'm on the path,
On the road to recovery.
I'll make it through somehow
And bring the rest of trust back to me.
Thinking possitive,
With almost unbearable pain and hope,
Is so very hard,
But I'll try to cope.
For I'll do anything to try and make it work
For I want to hear again,
only being Genuinely true
Simply: "Will you marry me baby and I love You"
