You Made Me See
I met you only a few months ago and you've
changed my life. You made me see what is
actually going on, what people are really like.
You've made me see what I've been missing
all my life. You helped me find myself.
you taught me how to love with my entire
heart. you let me see the way you really are.
You made me see what love can really be like,
when the other person loves you back,as much
as you love them.
Your helping me break out of my self-
conscious shell. You helped me see what
I'm really like. You showed me things I
didn't even know about myself.
The things you taught, showed,and made me see
are now the most important things to me.
why didn't I see these before?
It takes a special person to be able to see
inside someone like you did. You showed me
things about myself that i didn't even know.
How could i miss them? They are what makes
up my personality my soul.
Maybe I was too naive,
Maybe I was too self conscious,
Maybe I was not strong enough to see
inside myself.
But you didn't stop there. You were brave
enough to trust me and hlep me with my
problems. You made me strong enough
to love you like I do.
