The lovely gatekeeper of the heart awaits
Hidden by the grey clouds of the afterlife
Behind the thin veil of transformation she stands
She guards the entrance to the Spiritual Realm
Waiting wth her........
Are the souls of those who have passed the test
With the scale of truth she weighs men's hearts
On one slde is placed.....
A golden feather representing the issues of men's lives
On the other side........
The state of men's hearts are weighed
Should the hearts contain........
Hate, anger, fear, shame, or guilt
The souls are banished from eternal rest
The Spirits must continue their work
To be cleansed and to be purified
The gatekeeper's feather contains....
Truth, honor, justice, harmony and love
The ancient ones believed these were the only
Requirements to live a prosperous peace-filled life
To pass throught the gate we must seek and
Speak the truth, harbouring no ill thought or feelings
We must honor the way of those who came before us
We must deal justly with honesty in all situations
Be harmonious in all we do, seeking no quarrels
With anyone and extending only love to others
