Rejected Way of Life
Standing at a crossroad,
You did not even look;
Of what the Lord had told,
The way your father took.
For if you went that way,
Then you would have found peace;
And not having to stray,
Allowing strife to cease.
But you refused to go,
After you had been warned;
Of the danger to flow,
For the dead to be mourned.
When they sound the alarm,
You will only ignore;
Of the dangers that harm,
Hiding behind the door.
So I will tell the world,
Watch out for what God does;
As His plan is unfurled,
In changing of what was.
