Spiritual Poems To Touch The Heart

ME & GOD and what we see

Amazed I stand, in your presence,
just a poor empty sinner, you see.
I see a pure robe of essence,
then you extend your love to me.

Confused by a love so abounding,
you called my name and I heard.
Lost in a lack of understanding,
you calmed my heart with one word.

Hopeless I tried hard to earn you,
You chided, my child I'm free.
Persistent I searched ways to
please you,
then you caused these blind eyes
to see.

Now when I stand in your presence,
your eyes see faith on my face.
I'm free from living in pretense,
You blessed my sight, with your Grace.
