I Didn't Miss Heaven By Much
What am I to remember
the joy or the pain
Out of all that happened
of which will I most gain
The beginning
brought such joy to life
The end has created
life long strife
If I choose the joy
is that not a goal set
If I choose the strife
would it be a lesson met
Do they win
from my pain
Does it even matter
what be their gain
My pain with time
will pass
His loss
will forever last
So as hard and awesome
as this love was
there have been lessons learned
and its all because....
Life was beautiful
and I have a hunch
As much as it now hurts
I didn't miss heaven by much
