Dreaming~1
Once again
at waters edge I am found
Wishing upon stars
that never fail to astound
One of many awesome creations
You place here for me
I watch as they reflect
upon the wonderous sea
So many blessings
You bestow upon me
that I feel selfish asking
just one more thing of Thee
My heart You know
even better than I
and how it wishes
to once again fly
Your love I know
should be enough
You hold me up
when times are rough
A purer love
I will never know
Is it wrong to yearn
for an earthly beau
And to want
that arm in the night
that draws me close
and holds me tight
Those lips brushing mine
with the sweetness of a kiss
That loving union
that brings such earthly bliss
My precious Savior I love
with all that I can be
dare I ask a true earthly love
to soar the heavens with me
An eternity I will wait
My patience never ageing
As long as I know
I'm not just dreaming

Once again
at waters edge I am found
on bended knee giving thanks
for Your Blessings that never fail to astound
My prayers You have so richly answered
and blessed me with a love
that could have only been sent
by You my Father above
So many blessings
You bestow upon me
I so heartfully give thanks
for this man that was sent from Thee
My heart You always know
even better than I
that you have now given wings
and as never before does soar and fly
This awesome blessing
you have placed in my life
has rid my heart of all past
pain and strife
A purer love
I will never know
I thank you so heartfully
for this earthly beau
I now have
that arm in the night
that draws me close
and holds me tight

Please watch over this man
and keep him safe for me
Please help me do what must be done
to take me to his side to never again part
For I know this was Your plan
from our very start.
