He's Only
A Prayer Away
This man you love with all your heart
Will be with you each and every day
The love and memories shared
Will be your light as you make your way
There is no answer for Why now Lord
His decisions we can not question
Nor be prepared for the final goodbye
When it is our loved one He does beckon
We must celebrate this life
That so deeply touched that of others
And learn from his example
Of the extended hand to each and every brother
He is a man of whose greatness shall live
Long beyond his earthly passing
His mark left upon this earth
Is one forever lasting
So take comfort in not just who he was
But more in what he left behind
For his life today we celebrate
The greatness of this man so kind
The love that was shared
In your heart will for ever stay
The oneness will always live
Because he's only a prayer away
