 Haunting Day

Cemetery walk through
past the headstones of other men
recalled the chill of Haunting Day
Souls urning for a change of mind
sucking the air from mine
Howling to the new moon
for the end of my time

You will hear my chains
clanging your stairwell
raising the hair on your neck
My pleas, my callings
echoing the hallow walls
of your every room
Waking the nights, so comfortable
so free from damned
the shriek will invade your ears
bleed your mind
'til you succumb to the sucking air
pulling the life from you
to help rejuvenate mine
