Tending The Garden Of Her Smile
Tending The Garden Of Her Smile
~Dedicated To My Sister, I love you~
I survey the land
This patch of her heart
Seems barren and empty
The landscape, torn apart
No signs of life
Not a blossom in sight
I know I am the one
To set things right
So I till with my hands
Earth too fragile to plow
Wondering what gifts
My own heart could endow
I plant a single seed
A blossom of tomorrow
My love falls like rain
Ending the drought of sorrow
Pulling weeds of her pain
Nurturing all the while
As I tend to the garden
Of her smile
