Gentle Swan
Oh how I love to see
Swans gliding on the lake
The lake, waters deep pure sky blue
Ripples moving with a silent breeze
Shadows on the waters free
Swan feathers so light and white
Long neck, stately, and graceful
Sharpened beak, purposely pointed straight
Eyes so bright, all knowing and wise
Oh how I do love
Love the way they glide along
Glide along like a sweet love song
So smooth, restful, and peaceful
Nothing seems to disturb them
They are in a world of their very own
Oh so calm and still gentle swan
