 Yesterday
Yesterday I killed myself
though still I breathe no less
Yesterday I took my heart
and locked it in a chest.
Yesterday I lost my mouth
though I talk the dame as before
Yesterday I stopped my smile
and hid it deep within a drawer.
Yesterday my eyes went blind
though I still see the city
Yesterday I made them cold
not softer for all that's pretty.
Yesterday I stopped from being
though the same space I still occupied
Yesterday I did not believe
Yesterday I died.
