 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

Is it possible to fall so fast…
skydiving headlong into the blue air
without a parachute to break the descent?

Can feelings form so rapidly…
driving a formula car at full throttle
but being asleep at the wheel?

Can bliss be found so easily…
gambling and hitting the jackpot
without ever dropping a coin?

Is it real to chase this treasure…
finding the rainbow's pot of gold
with no leprechaun guarding it?

Can love come so swiftly…
a race horse galloping to the finish
before the gate is barely opened?

Tell me you fell…
Tell me it's real…
Tell me we'll reach
love's finish line…
and walk away
with the prize
we've both just
begun to share.
