Can't You Hear Me?

My voice, it rang into the night
One hundred wishes among the stars
To speak to you these words of hope
That one day this world would be ours

I sent promises softly in my dreams
Riding to you upon the summer wind
To remind you of the days gone by
To vow that they would be again

I cast my cries in waters deep
To tell you longing has found me too
I yearned! as I counted every drop
A testimony that I do need you

A song I sung with love inside
Each note a heartbeat meant to be
Yet doubt rests upon your loving ear and..
I wonder, can't you hear me?
