She comes to me like the wind
Rustling and stirring the leaves
And the branches of my soul;
She brings in her wings invisible
The sweet fragrance of life, the
Tender feelings that melt the heart.
She comes to me like the moonlight
That subdues the night with magic spells:
She casts on the breathless sea
The charm and soft colour of her eyes,
She makes the shadows crawl
Beneath the garment of her light.
She comes to me like the sounds
Of songs that love sings to life -
Music that reaches so deep inside
It echoes in my veins unchallenged,
And soothes with heavenly salve
The wounds of my heart and my soul.
She comes to me like an angel
Clothed in mystery and light
Like the stars that glimmer in the sky.
And though the world may never know
How much she means to me, indeed,
She's life, and love, and happiness.
