The light of the day you brought to my world is fading fast
And I can feel the cool breathing of the night around me
Though short and beautiful I always dreamed it would last

Through timeless rituals of night and day, sighing
In the vast pendulums invisible yet real and true -

When you close your eyes to hide the tears that you cry
When you hold your breath, when you wish for yesterday
In that faraway star my heart will sigh and will also cry...
