‘Hello everybody how are we?
Todays class is about step 3
Giving ourselves over to God
Now I know you hate this Rod
(Rod nods his head)
But think about your God instead
An inner power to overcome
The need to stalk someone'

'Ok; now let's hear from Claire'
(Claire starts to fidget on her chair)

"I've done ok this week, only 10 texts
To this girl I met once called becks
She's a friends-friend I met at a party
And she took a shine to me
Well I think so?
I've texted her to let her know"

‘Ok, how about you Harry?'

"Well I've started writing poetry"
(The group clap)
But I've had a relapse
Keep writing about some bird
I've never met which is absurd'
But what's even more silly!
Is that she says she loves me"

(A hand goes up in the groups circle)
From a girl called Michelle

‘yes Chelle what's the matter?'

"I've written another letter"
"It's too an ex boyfriend"
"But I refuse to accept it's the end"
"I keep apologizing for what I did"
"I can't stop acting like a kid"

‘Thanks Chelle.
Letting go can seem like hell
Ok group we have someone new'

"Hi my names Matthew
I've been asked to attend here
I sent one text after too much beer
I was only trying to be good
But as always I was misunderstood
One text and one comment is all
But now I've been made to look a fool"

Thankyou everyone for talking
Let's look at what is stalking?
It's harassment and threats
Obscene gestures with no regrets
A compulsive urge to be with them
Stalkers are both woman and men
It's an excessive amount of contact
Not idle day to-day chit chat.

'Claire you text a lot
And you have to learn to stop
Harry, you're obsessed with words
And the idea of having these birds
Chelle, it's over between you and him
Letters won't change anything
Matt, it happens to all of us
You need to go to ‘drunk text anonymous'
