Tú eres la incógnita invariable,
La respuesta que en cada instante
Mi alma buscaba con tanta insistencia...
Tú eres como ese vapor invisible
Que vuelve a mí irresistible
Al beso ardiente de mi corazón...
Tú eres el impulso, el motivo, el deseo
La esencia pura de todo lo que creo
Cuando mi alma siente la eternidad..
Tú eres el final de todos mis caminos
La conjugación de todos mis destinos
El amanecer del día mas bello de mi vida...
Yo soy esa parte de tu alma
Que en otra tierra, bajo una palma,
Dormía sin saber de tu existencia...
Yo soy ese sueño no realizado
Que muy dentro de ti has llevado
Y que con ansias esperas que llegue
Yo soy como el vasto firmamento
Que te ofrece a cada momento
Su vida para saciar tu sed...
Yo soy ese viento inesperado que toca
Ese pensamiento divino que desemboca
Cuando mueres y cuando vives...
