Beautiful Disaster

I'd rather be
Like a beggar's cup
And suffer worldly ails
Then be like
A million golden
Gilded Grails

For a beggar's cup
Would always be full
No matter the size
For God will
Always provide
If we realize

We need to only be
In the world
Not of the world
And let the word
From our mouths
Be unfurled

Because although
The grail may seem
Worth more
Those that choose
To live like a grail
Will be poor

For the grail
In all its splendor
Will come up dry
For  the contents
In the cup
Keep us from going awry.
