most of us,
invisible, with beautiful paintings,

and nobody knows
our insides,
most of us,

of course
every now and then
we show some color,
let some one in, reveal,
guard down, apprehension
on hold, our world open,
taking a chance,
gambling on rarity,
one dollar tickets,
people in clever masks
dangling illusions,
romantic hearts
of living art,
bleeding perfectly.
