Flight Taken
Flight Taken
She can feel the winds beneath her
Teasing her hair, drying her tears
For a moment, once, all seems at peace
She must let go of all the years
It's amazing what comes to haunt us
Those feelings that can't be undone
Wishes and dreams just seem pointless
When they can't be shared with the one
She needs to take her departure
From a world, where nothing seems right
She knows there will be no return ticket
With the flight she is taking tonight
