Saying Goodbye...
I may walk alone in the night
And know not of your love
If its there
I may never see again your smile
Nor feel in the peaceful dark
Your breath of love
But your memory will always be everywhere
Forever in my soul…
I may see your beauty in a strange face
And hear your promise in a strange voice
I just may, I just may…
I may feel your presence in a strange bosom
And learn to measure and chart the rhythms within
As now I do
But your memory will always be everywhere
Forever in my soul…
Strange rain clouds may nurture my heart
And strange flowers may grow within its walls,
Like yours today…
But like a faithful river that empties a thousand streams
Into its Ocean defined in a lasting balance of gravity
