A Memory Of You
A Memory Of You
Author: Mark V. Markov
Passing by looking at the sky
Serene Beauty full of light
I'm wondering on
Feeling so alone
Without you by my side
And there's no place to escape
Nowhere to hide
From the loneliness
That's building up inside
Tide of the ocean comes
Waves pushing against the shore
All I have is a memory of you
And nothing else more,
Your openness and beauty
Is in my memories
Everything else seems
Like a forest of passing trees,
Wish I could touch your soul
Feel our love melt into one
Finish the race inside of my heart
That you had already won,
Yet the tide of the ocean comes
Waves pushing against the shore
All I have is a memory of you,
All I have is a memory of you.
The only question that remains,
Will our love ever take place?
The only question that remains,
Will our love ever take place?
