I could tell you
I love you
Need you
Adore you
But what would
All that wanting do

I could tell you
That you make
My heart sing
And when I'm around you
You give me wings

I could tell you
You're the apple
Of my eye
And I'm weak in the knees
When you pass me by

I could tell you
That I'll always
Love you
And that we will be together
No matter what we go through

But in the end
All we'll have to say
Are some broken words
And a faded cliche
