The Coming of our Lord
Would it not be so grand,
If we could understand;
For the ones who have died,
Are now at the Lord's side.
If you truly believe,
You would not have to grieve;
Be easier to cope,
When you know there is hope.
Jesus died and was raised,
That is why He is praised;
And will return again,
Sounding the last Amen.
Faith that the deceased lack,
Not able to come back;
When the Lord does return,
Their life they did not earn.
All who are still alive,
Will see the Lord arrive;
Coming in on the cloud,
With trumpet sounding loud.
